Pierre Cardin Invitation
The opening of Pierre Cardin’s collection was a SCAD fundraising event. The donations will go to a scholarship fund for the school. This sculptural invitation was inspired by the Pierre Cardin collection displayed at the SCAD Fashion Museum in 2018. The triangle bodysuit, featured on the invitation, caught my eye. The die-cut tessellation, foiling, and triangular folds were influenced by the shapes and materials used in the bodysuit.
